from the age of three up until i was fifteen i danced at SHAKE dance school, under the principle Nikki McIntyre. at fifteen i quit because of having "too much study" in my final years of high-school - which was a moderate lie; basically i went crazy and wanted to party. now that i'm nineteen, have gotten a grip of my third year of uni and what i'd like to achieve in my life, i've decided to head back to dancing to get healthy.
last year, my five year old brother began dancing at SHAKE, so i came along to the concert to watch him and asked to take photos. these are the following photos. i might also mention that most of the photos were taken on a 5Dmii with a broken 70-200 2.8, which was difficult to shoot with most of the time. i ended up with over a thousand photos and culled it down to 560. if i had a lens that was functioning at full capacity (that didn't miss most of the great shots because of the broken image-stabalizer :( ) and i had the 5dmiii that i have now, god the possibilities. but i had what i had and worked with it well. so here we have my favourite photos from the…...
